A new 4-story 25-unit Permanent Supportive Housing development

A prominent corner in a mid-density residential neighborhood of South Los Angeles is transformed with a new 4-story 25-unit Permanent Supportive Housing development. Each studio unit includes ample daylight, cross-ventilation, full kitchen, and an ADA-accessible bathroom. A ground floor 1-Bedroom unit is provided for the onsite manager.

Part of the RE:THINK Housing Initiative and partially funded by Proposition HHH Supportive Housing Loan program, the 100% Affordable Project leverages the Planning Department’s Transit Oriented Communities Incentives. The project is a fully by-right development that increases density, reduces parking, and allows for a faster approvals and construction than larger housing developments.

The community and support spaces open to a central open space and to the street creating an open, safe, and community-oriented environment. Ample roof decks allow for a peaceful open-space respite from the urban environment.
